⚡ Closing This Week

Oxford Accelerator Fellowship (June 15) — Probably the most prestigious AI ethics fellowship with a June deadline. If you have an active project on AI governance, policy, or public awareness, this is worth the application effort. Remote fellowship option starts September 2026.

IJCAI AI Olympics — Double Pendulum (June 1) — Already closed as of today (June 3). Listed for archive reference.

MLRC Intent to Submit (June 4) — Register your intent tomorrow if you’re planning to reproduce an ML paper for TMLR publication. The actual paper isn’t due until September.


🚀 Startup Programs

Two strong accelerator deadlines this month: Google for Startups AI Energy (Europe/Israel June 12, North America June 30) for AI-in-energy startups, and Techstars Anywhere (June 10) for any-industry founders in US timezones who don’t want to relocate.

The NSF SBIR/STTR programme opened Project Pitches on June 2 — the best non-dilutive path for US deep tech AI startups. Full proposal deadline is July 27.


🎓 Fellowships

The IAPS AI Policy Fellowship (June–August 2026, DC or remote) is actively running — late applicants should contact IAPS directly. The SUNY AI for Public Good Fellowship closes June 8 and is restricted to SUNY system staff and faculty.
