EIC Accelerator Open 2026 — EU Deep Tech Startup Funding
The EU's flagship open-track accelerator for any deep tech startup — not limited to AI or a specific sector. Up to €2.5M non-dilutive grant plus up to €10M equity. Six deadlines per year in 2026. Next full proposal (Step 2) deadline is September 2, 2026. Total 2026 budget: €414M.
€414M pot for 2026 across any deep tech sector — AI, biotech, climate, robotics. Six deadlines per year means if you miss September you have November. The open track has no thematic restrictions, making it the most accessible EIC route for AI startups that don't fit niche challenge topics.
The EIC Accelerator Open is the European Innovation Council’s flagship, sector-agnostic funding programme for high-risk, high-impact startups and SMEs. Unlike the thematic Challenges (e.g. GenAI4EU), the Open track accepts applications across any deep-tech domain.
